With NGC since
Daniele is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has been counseling children for over eight years and working with children for more than fifteen years. Daniele practices from a Child-Centered perspective, using directive and non-directive play therapy to connect with children and help them explore and process their thoughts and feelings about the world around them. Daniele works with children experiencing emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment, and parent/child conflict. She has also worked with children who have behavioral concerns. Daniele has training in Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), Theraplay, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Additionally, Daniele utilizes elements of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness and Solution-Focused therapies to meet the unique needs of her clients. Daniele provides a comfortable and fun environment for children to express themselves freely. Just as and adult would communicate verbally, Daniele believes children need a space where they can communicate through a language they know best… PLAY! She is a member of the Georgia Association for Play Therapy and Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia.
Outside of the playroom, Daniele enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their adorable son, whether it's cozying up on the couch for a movie night or embarking on spontaneous adventures to the most magical place on Earth - Disney World! Her days are also filled with the love of two furry companions, and her not-so-typical pet rabbit.
