With NGC since
Juliette's journey into the mental health field was sparked by her desire to help others. With a background as a preschool teacher and a master's degree in hand, she found her calling in working with children and teenagers. She is a member of the Georgia Association for Play Therapy and Licensed Professionals Counselors Association of Georgia.
As an Associate Professional Counselor (APC), Juliette employs a Person-Centered approach, tailoring her methods to each client's unique needs. She has training in Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) through Behavioral Teach, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Additionally, she incorporates Solution-Focused, Mindfulness, and Art therapies when needed. Juliette specializes in helping children and teens facing anxiety, low self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, stress, depression, and life transitions. Juliette believes in meeting her clients where they're at and creates a supportive environment to foster positive growth. She holds DBT skills day-camps in the summers and school stress groups during the academic year. She is currently pursuing her Registered Play Therapist certification (RPT) and believes that a child's best way to express themselves is through the language of play!
Juliette's favorite ways to practice self-care are spending time with her family and her two fur-babies, reading, watching her favorite tv-shows, and going on walks. You can almost always find her with coffee in hand!
